Greenstone House Presika is a charming Mediterranean cottage located in the settlement of Presika, surrounded by greenery, yet only a fifteen-minute walk from the picturesque old town of Labin, a town with a thousand years of history. It is ideal for those seeking peace, birdsong, and a touch of nature, but also the proximity of the sea, cultural attractions, and the opportunity to experience authentic Istrian gastronomy.
The interior of the house is comfortable and functional: three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen with a dining area provide plenty of space for a small family. Outdoors, you will find a lush garden and a relaxing area—terrace, garden furniture, sun loungers, a barbecue, and an above-ground pool—perfect for an afternoon rest with a book or an evening gathering under the stars.
The location is exceptional: within just a few minutes’ drive, you can reach the beautiful beaches of the popular resort town of Rabac, as well as the secluded, wild beaches of the small village of Prtlog.
If you are looking for cultural, historical, and gastronomic experiences, the old town of Labin—known as a town of artists and galleries—offers charming alleyways, stunning views of the hills and the sea, Mount Učka, and Rabac. Labin is also known for its mining heritage, and a visit to the mine within the town museum is a truly unique experience. During the summer, guided tours and various cultural events are organized.
In the town and its surroundings, you will find numerous pizzerias and restaurants offering traditional Istrian cuisine.
For those who prefer an active holiday, there are diving centers in Rabac and Sv. Marina, a horseback riding club in Presika, and various cycling routes for exploring the area.
Within 40 to 70 kilometers, you can also visit some of the most beautiful Istrian towns—Pula, Rovinj, Poreč, Opatija, Motovun, and others—as well as the Brijuni archipelago and the island of Cres, all well worth a visit.
